1. How can I play in PDC darts events?

    The growth of the Professional Darts Corporation circuit means that there are greater opportunities than ever for players.

    Qualifying School / PDC ProTour / Challenge Tour
    Players can win a Tour Card to compete on the elite PDC ProTour each year at Qualifying School, which will be held from January 13-16 at the Robin Park Tennis Centre in Wigan.

    Qualifying School is open to ANY player aged 16 or above, with approximately 32 Tour Cards on offer. Full details about Qualifying School are available at www.pdpa.co.uk.

    Players who win a PDC Tour Card are eligible to enter all Players Championship events (limited to 128 players), as well as the UK Open Qualifiers and European Tour events.

    Players who do not win a PDC Tour Card become PDPA Associate Members, allowing them to enter UK Open Qualifiers and European Tour events as well as compete in Players Championship events in Q School Order of Merit order should the 128 Tour Card Holders not enter.

    PDPA Associate Members also have their own Challenge Tour series of events, with 16 £10,000 tournaments being held during 2015 across four double-header weekends. PDPA Associate Membership for Challenge Tour events only is available via www.pdpa.co.uk. The leading two players from the final 2015 Challenge Tour Order of Merit will win a two-year PDC Tour Card.

    PDC Unicorn Development Tour - Youth Players Aged 16-23
    The PDC Unicorn Development Tour allows ANY player aged from 16-23 to compete in a series of events throughout the year.

    Tournaments are played with two per day across weekends, with four weekends seeing 16 events taking place during 2015, expanding to five weekends and 20 events in 2016.

    Each event is worth £10,000, with the leading two players from the 2015 Development Tour Order of Merit winning a PDC Tour Card, with qualification for the PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship also based on prize money won in Development Tour events.

    UK Open Amateur Qualifiers
    The Coral UK Open Televised Finals feature a series of Amateur Qualifiers competing alongside professional stars. These are usually held in January or February and allow any player who is not a PDPA Member to compete.

  6. Are you able to provide donations for our charity event?

    The PDC's official charity partner for 2015 is the Donna Louise Children's Hospice Trust.

    Unfortunately due to the number of requests we receive and the lack of suitable available donations, we are unable to provide donations to other charities.



    The PDC only sells tickets directly through its official outlets and warns against purchasing from other sources, however official they claim to be.

    Tickets are sold subject to terms and conditions, which include the agreement that tickets will not be re-sold at face value or greater.
    The PDC will always strive to cancel any tickets found to be on sale through third parties and would advise that purchasers of tickets through this method face being denied entry into events.
    Any ticket holders found selling their tickets will be blacklisted with their details circulated to all PDC official box offices. In certain circumstances, details may be passed to the Police.
    We welcome reports of tickets on sale through third-parties and will always request that the tickets are removed from sale immediately via the legal departments of the websites used.
