December 07 2016

A HUGE $160,700 in prize money will be on offer in the PDC World Series of Darts Festival in Las Vegas in July 2017, with four qualifying events giving a huge opportunity for north American players to take on the world's biggest names.

The PDC World Series of Darts will visit Las Vegas for the first time next summer, as 16 players - including world number one Michael van Gerwen and reigning World Champion Gary Anderson - set to clash at the Tropicana Las Vegas – A DoubleTree by Hilton.

North American players will get FOUR chances to qualify for the U.S. Darts Masters as well as the opportunity to compete in the high-profile domestic North American Championship.

One player from each of the four Qualifiers, to be held on July 11 & 12, will progress to compete in both the North American Championship and U.S. Darts Masters events.

In addition, the top four players from an Order of Merit based on prize money won across the four Qualifiers will join them in competing on stage in the two televised events.

The eight north American players will contest the North American Championship on Thursday July 13, with the winner progressing to play in the 2017/2018 World Darts Championship in London.

All eight players will then return to the stage on July 14 as the two-day World Series of Darts event begins, where they will take on the eight top PDC stars in the U.S Darts Masters.
