One of the most frequently asked questions we receive is about when and where PDC darts are shown on TV.
Many of the PDC's major televised ranking tournaments, headed by the Ladbrokes World Darts Championship, and the McCoy's Premier League Darts, are shown live across the UK and Europe on Sky Sports, whose coverage is now screened in High Definition, and also in 3D for certain events.
The other televised major tournaments on Sky Sports during 2013 will be July's BetVictor World Matchplay, the partypoker.com World Grand Prix in October and the William Hill Grand Slam of Darts in November.
A new televised deal between the PDC and ITV was announced in June 2013 to cover 2013-2015, and features coverage of the partypoker.net European Championship, Cash Converters Players Championship Finals and The Masters this year and the UK Open from 2014 onwards.
The introduction of the World Series of Darts saw the Dubai Duty Free Darts Masters aired worldwide, while August's Sydney Darts Masters will be show from August 29-31 on Fox Sports Australia, Sky New Zealand, Fox Asia, OSN Middle East and through the Eurosport Network in the UK, Ireland, Europe and Scandinavia.
All major televised PDC events have highlights available in LIVEPDC.TV for all subscribers and LIVE coverage available for International Pass subscribers based outside of the UK, Ireland and Holland.
The rights to the major televised tournaments are also sold on to a number of countries across the globe whose audiences then get to enjoy the very best the sport has to offer.
America, Japan, China, South Africa, Hungary and Singapore are among the nations to broadcast highlights packages from PDC tournaments, while RLT7 in Holland, Sport 1 in Germany, OSN in the Middle East, Fox Sports in Australia and Sky New Zealand screen live coverage of tournaments.
Overall, a potential audience of 300 million people have access to PDC tournaments to watch the best players in the world battling for honours at the oche.
In addition, Championship League Darts is streamed exclusively online in September and October each year, while highlights from major televised tournaments are available in the LIVEPDC.TV section of our official website, along with live coverage of events for users outside the UK, Ireland and Holland.
European Tour events in Dusseldorf and Gibraltar in 2013 were also streamed through LIVEPDC.TV, and future tournaments will be advertised should they feature live streaming.
