PDPA member Darren Mawer is recovering in hospital after suffering a brain haemorrhage recently.
Mawer, from Grimsby, was taken ill during a flight on holiday to Turkey with his family, and needed an emergency operation at the time.
He has shown some signs of recovery but currently remains in intensive care in hospital in Turkey.
Mawer has competed 23 times on the PDC ProTour this year, most recently during the New Tropicana World Series of Darts Festival in Las Vegas.
