Fleet Does The Double

ANTHONY FLEET earned an Australian Grand Prix double with victory in both DPA tournaments in Mittagong.

Fleet, a qualifier for the 2007 Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship, continued his strong start to the new DPA season, after reaching a semi-final and final on the opening weekend.

He fared even better in Mittagong, winning both tournaments which included a whitewash of John Weber in Saturday's Final.

He had also defeated Peter Asmussen 6-0 on the day, and having beaten Brian Roach 6-2 in the semis also defeated him 6-3 in Sunday's final.

Event One winner Arnel Galvez reached Saturday's quarter-finals, while the other opening weekend winner, Bill Aitken, was a semi-finalist on Sunday.
