THE first two Speedy Hire UK Open Qualifiers of 2012 will feature a bumper field of over 190 players in Crawley on February 11 & 12, including reigning champion James Wade and World Champion Adrian Lewis.
The two £35,000 tournaments are the first of eight as players bid to win places in June's UK Open televised finals at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton.
In a change for 2012, the eight Qualifiers will be played with an unseeded, open draw - meaning that top players could be drawn to face each other in the first round.
Lewis and Wade head the field of entries, with 197 players set to compete in Saturday's tournament and 194 in action on Sunday.
The double-header will be the first chance for the PDC's new Tour Card holders to compete on UK soil since Qualifying School last month.
All games will be the best of 11 legs, and players must register at the venue before 11am. Due to the high level of entries, play in each tournament will commence at 12.30pm.
