JELLE KLAASEN, Michael van Gerwen, Kim Huybrechts and Roland Scholten are amongst the eight European qualifiers for the first European Tour event.
A total of 33 players competed in Huerth, near Cologne in Germany on Saturday to win eight places in the Austrian Darts Open, which will be held in the Arena Nova, Wiener Neudstadt from April 27-29.
Jelle Klaasen defeated two recent Ladbrokes World Darts Championship Qualifiers, Jyhan Artut and Kevin Munch, to win his place in the inaugural European Tour event, alongside four other Dutch players.
2004 UK Open champion Roland Scholten defeated Spanish ace Carlos Rodriguez to win his place in the tournament, Michael van Gerwen saw off Italy's Romano Ruggeri and Gibraltar's Dylan Duo, Gino Vos overcame Toon Greebe and Mareno Michels took victory against Tobias Höntsch.
Croatian World Cup of Darts representative Boris Krcmar impressed with wins against Belgium's Kurt Van De Rijck and Spanish number one Antonio Alcinas, Michael Rosenauer won the all-German decider with Tomas Seyler and Belgium's Kimg Huybrechts defeated Tonci Restovic and Jerry Hendriks.
The eight players join four Home Nation Qualifiers in winning their spots in the inaugural European Tour event, and they will be joined by 20 players from the UK Qualifier to be held at the Barnsley Metrodome on Friday April 13.
The 32 Qualifiers will then be drawn against the world's top 32 players for the first round of the European Tour event.
