CROATIAN Zdravko Antunovic is amongst the eight European Qualifiers for the German Darts Championship, alongside a Belgian, a Swede, an Austrian and four Dutch aces.
Antunovic won his place in the PDC's second European Tour event in Berlin later this month by being one of the eight European Qualifiers to come from Saturday's 32-player knockout in Cologne.
The Croatian has previously narrowly missed out on a place in the Ladbrokes World Darts Championship, losing out in the final of the South-East Europe Qualifier to Serbian Oliver Ferenc last year.
Antunovic was joined by another new face, Dutchman Leon de Geus, who knocked out Belgian Kurt Van De Rijck and fellow countryman Roland Scholten to earn his spot in Berlin in three weeks' time.
Kim Huybrechts will represent Belgium in the event, while Sweden's Magnus Caris and Austria's Mensur Suljovic also won through, alongside three other Dutchmen.
Mareno Michels qualified for his second successive European Tour event by defeating Ronny Huybrechts in their decider, while Jerry Hendriks won the battle of the young Dutchman with Toon Greebe to win through.
Michael van Gerwen, meanwhile, missed double 12 for a nine-dart finish in his win over Gino Vos in their decider.
The eight players complete the 64-player field for the German Darts Championship, which will be held from June 22-24 at the Tempodrom in Berlin.
They join Friday's four Home Nation Qualifiers, 20 UK Qualifiers and the world's top 32 in the event, with the draw to be made in Bolton next week during the Speedy Services UK Open.
