PDC In DARTSLIVE Link-Up

THE Professional Darts Corporation are delighted to announce a partnership with DARTSLIVE which will also see Paul Lim compete in the Ladbrokes World Darts Championship, having secured a place at Alexandra Palace as the current World Soft-Tip Champion.

The Singapore-born thrower will take the last of the International Qualifying places in the tournament, meaning he will join other global champions in the preliminary round at Alexandra Palace in December.

Lim has vast experience at the top level, having previously competed six times in the PDC World Championship from 1997-2002 and also making 12 Lakeside Championship appearances.

He famously hit a nine-dart finish in the 1990 Lakeside Championship in his run to the quarter-finals, and has also competed in the PDC's World Matchplay, World Grand Prix and Las Vegas Desert Classic in the past.

Lim's qualification comes as part of the PDC's new partnership with DARTSLIVE, whose pioneering electronic darts network service allows players to compete interactively from different locations around the world.

Fans attending the Ladbrokes World Darts Championship will be able to play on the DARTSLIVE machines in the Fans Village and experience the cutting-edge DARTSLIVE2 network system.

DARTSLIVE has been a huge hit in Japan since its introduction ten years ago, and has now expanded across Asia, North American and most recently into the European market.

The Ladbrokes World Darts Championship will be held from December 14 2012-January 1 2013 at Alexandra Palace in London.
