Dubai Duty Free Darts Masters Format

THE draw for the Dubai Duty Free Darts Masters will be made on Wednesday May 22 in Dubai.

The new, eight-player tournament will be held on May 23 & 24 at the Dubai Tennis Centre.

Featuring the world's top eight players, the Dubai Duty Free Darts Masters will see Phil Taylor, Adrian Lewis, James Wade, Michael van Gerwen, Simon Whitlock, Andy Hamilton, Wes Newton and Raymond van Barneveld competing for $250,000 prize money, including $50,000 to the champion.

Play on Thursday May 23 (8pm local time) will see the four quarter-finals played before the winners return on Friday May 24 (8pm) to compete in the semi-finals and final.

The top four players, as at the time of January's confirmation of the event, will be seeded for the first round draw, with the remaining four players to be drawn at random next Wednesday afternoon in Dubai.

The quarter-finals will be the best of 19 legs, with the semi-finals and final the best of 21 legs.

The Dubai Duty Free Darts Masters will be televised live on OSN across the Middle East and in Australia on Fox Sports. Details of further coverage will be announced once finalised.
