LOURENCE ILAGAN defeated Paul Lim 3-2 to win Stage Five of DARTSLIVE - THE WORLD in Shanghai.

"I feel so happy to have won, and proud for my country," said Ilagan, a two-time Ladbrokes World Darts Championship qualifier.

"It's my first stage win this year, and I had to prepare very hard for this event. I wanted to prove something. Playing against Paul, I always feel pressure as he always plays so well."

Lim, the 2011 DARTSLIVE - THE WORLD Champion - sits at the top of this year's rankings following his run to the final of Stage Five, ahead of Japan's Takehiro Suzuki and two-time event winner Ronald Briones, with American Scott Kirchner and Croatia's Boris Kcrmar tied for fourth.
