European Tour Event & Entry Info

EUROPEAN TOUR events in 2014 will be 48-player tournaments held across three days, with the format now finalised and entries open for the first two events.

Following extensive consultation with the PDPA, the eight £100,000 European Tour events to be held this year will each feature a 48-player field.

The top 16 players from the One-Year ProTour Order of Merit at the closing date for entries for each event will qualify by right, and will enter each European Tour event at the Last 32 stage.

A further 32 players will win through qualifying events to compete in the main European Tour event, with 20 players coming from the UK Qualifier, eight players winning through the European Qualifier and four players being found in the Host Nation Qualifier.

The first round of each European Tour event will see the qualifiers draw together at random, with the 16 winners progressing to the Last 32 to join the 16 seeded players in the second round.

The UK Qualifiers will be open to PDC Tour Card Holders and PDPA Associate Members from the UK & Ireland and outside Europe.

The European Qualifier will be open to PDC Tour Card Holders, PDPA Associate Members and Day Members from Europe outside of the country which is hosting the European Tour event.

The Host Nation Qualifier will be open to players only from the country which is hosting the respective European Tour event, either PDC Tour Card Holders, PDPA Associate Members and Day Members.

Entry costs £100 per event for all European Tour events for PDC Tour Card Holders and PDPA Associate Members, and €125 for Day Members who enter the European Qualifier or Host Nation Qualifier, to include PDPA Day Member Supplement.

The dates of the eight 2014 European Tour events are:
Event One - January 31-February 2, Hildesheim, Germany
Event Two - February 14-16, Veldhoven, Netherlands
