SYDNEY DARTS MASTERS TICKETS RELEASED AS HORDERN PAVILION HOSTS WORLD'S TOP STARS
THE 2014 Sydney Darts Masters will be held from August 28-30 at the Hordern Pavilion in Moore Park, with tickets now on sale for the World Series of Darts event.
Following the success of the inaugural Sydney Darts Masters last year, the tournament moves to a new home at the Hordern Pavilion, where 16 stars will compete across three days of play.
Reigning Sydney Darts Masters champion Phil Taylor will head the eight PDC players travelling to compete in Sydney alongside World Champion Michael van Gerwen - who won May's opening World Series of Darts event in Dubai.
Leading Australian player Simon Whitlock and seven-time major tournament winner James Wade will also be heading to Sydney for the event alongside World Championship finalist Peter Wright and World Grand Prix runner-up Dave Chisnall.
A further two Wildcards selections to represent the PDC will be announced in due course, with Wade - who was next in line from the PDC Order of Merit - included due to Adrian Lewis being unable to attend.
A further eight qualifiers will represent Australia and New Zealand, including the top four players from the DPA Australian Grand Prix Order of Merit, the DPNZ New Zealand Champion and Australian World Cup ace Paul Nicholson, plus two Qualifiers.
The Sydney Darts Masters kicks off on Thursday August 28, with the eight first round games to be held in one session.
The quarter-finals will then take place on Friday August 29 before the tournament concludes with the semi-finals and final on Saturday August 30.
