RAYMOND VAN BARNEVELD and Stephen Bunting have been confirmed as PDC Wildcards for the Sydney Darts Masters event at the Hordern Pavilion from August 28-30.
The treble-header of World Series of Darts events will conclude with the second Sydney Darts Masters, which sees 16 players competing at the Hordern Pavilion in Moore Park.
Last month saw Michael van Gerwen, Phil Taylor, Simon Whitlock, Peter Wright, Dave Chisnall and James Wade confirmed as the first six PDC competitors for the tournament.
In addition, five-time World Champion Raymond van Barneveld - the reigning Premier League Darts champion - and current Lakeside Champion Stephen Bunting have been confirmed as the two PDC Wildcards to compete in Sydney.
Bunting, also the current World Masters champion, moved onto the PDC circuit at the start of 2014 and won a UK Open Qualifier in February in only his second PDC event, and will follow up a UK Open appearance in March by making his BetVictor World Matchplay debut later in July.
Van Barneveld, meanwhile, was the 2013 Dubai Darts Masters runner-up to compatriot Michael van Gerwen, and also competed in the Sydney Darts Masters last summer.
A further eight Oceanic qualifiers will take on the PDC stars in the first round of the Sydney Darts Masters, and will include:
* The top four players from the DPA Australian Grand Prix Order of Merit
* A DPNZ New Zealand qualifier
* Australian World Cup ace Paul Nicholson
* Two players from the Sydney Darts Masters Qualifiers to be held on August 25 & 26 at the Warilla Bowls Club in Wollongong. For entry information, visit www.dartplayersaustralia.com.
The DPNZ New Zealand Qualifier will be held on Friday July 11 in Christchurch, with the eight players featuring Parry, recent New Zealand World Cup representatives Rob Szabo and Craig Caldwell and last year's Sydney Darts Masters qualifier Monty Tuhua.
