German Darts Masters Field Finalised

Martin Schindler & Max Hopp (PDC)

MAX HOPP and Martin Schindler will head the field of eight home challengers in the 2018 German Darts Masters later in May.

The 2018 PDC World Series of Darts will begin at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen on Friday May 25 with a one-day spectacular in front of 20,000 fans.

The event's first round will see the eight PDC stars drawn against the eight German representatives, who will be headlined by former World Youth Champion Hopp and his World Cup partner Schindler.

A further six players have qualified from the German Superleague, headed by Gabriel Clemens, who has made a big impact since joining the professional circuit in 2018.

Stefan Stoyke, Robert Marijanovic and Dragutin Horvat all competed in last year's inaugural German Darts Masters

Youngster Nico Kurz will make his big-stage debut at the Veltins Arena, while Manfred Bilderl has previously competed in a PDC European Tour event in October 2017.

The eight PDC stars are headlined by reigning champion Peter Wright, world number one Michael van Gerwen and World Champion Rob Cross.

Gary Anderson, Mensur Suljovic and Raymond van Barneveld will be joined by World Series debutants Dimitri Van den Bergh - the reigning World Youth Champion - and Jamie Lewis, a World Championship semi-finalist in December.

Tickets for the 2018 German Darts Masters are still available and can be purchased via THIS LINK.
