JUST four weeks remain before the PDC World Series of Darts returns to Las Vegas for the North American Championship and U.S. Darts Masters.
A five-day festival of darts at the Mandalay Bay Casino & Resort will begin on Tuesday July 3 with the first of two days of qualifiers, which are open to players from the USA and Canada.
Two knockouts will be held on each of the two days, with the winner of each qualifier securing a place on stage alongside four players from a combined Qualifiers' Order of Merit.
Those eight players will then compete on Thursday July 5 in the North American Championship, which will see the winner secure a spot in the 2018/2019 William Hill World Darts Championship.
They will also then take part in the main World Series of Darts event, facing eight leading PDC players in the 2018 U.S. Darts Masters.
Entries close on Friday June 29 at 1000 PST/1800 BST.
On July 3 and 4 there will be two qualifying competitions per day open to all US and Canadian citizens over the age of 16. The winner of each of the four qualifying competitions, along with the top four players from a Merit Table over the four events, will qualify for the North American Darts Championship and the US Darts Masters.
Entry to the qualifying competitions is £70 per event (approx. $100).
Due to a technical issue with the PDC Online Entry System, entries are currently only being taken by phone to the PDC Head Office by calling 0044 1277 359929. Players should please contact their bank in advance to permit international payments.
The deadline for qualifier entry is Friday June 29, 1000 PST/1800 BST.
The qualifying events will be played with an open draw over a minimum of the best of seven legs, straight knock-out, single-in double-out 501.
