World Championship: European Qualifying Events

THE dates and venues for the 2018/19 William Hill World Darts Championship European Qualifiers have been confirmed.

Six places for European players will be on offer in the 2018/2019 World Championship at Alexandra Palace in London.

Last year's World Championship was a successful one for European qualifiers as Spain's Toni Alcinas reached the third round of the tournament, while German Kevin Munch defeated two-time World Champion Adrian Lewis in round one.

Following the tournament's recent expansion, female players from across Europe will also be able to compete in the Rest of the World Ladies Qualifier in Dusseldorf on November 17.

The dates and venues for the qualifying events in Europe are:

East Europe Qualifier
September 22

Budapest
Open to players from: Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Romania, Albany, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Serbia and Macedonia.

West Europe Qualifier
October 7

Zwolle
Open to players from: Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.

South-East Europe Qualifier
October 6

Zurich
Open to players from: Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Italy, San Marino, Malta, Greece, Cyprus and Turkey.

South-West Europe Qualifier
October 20

Avila
Open to players from: Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar, Andorra, France and Monaco.

Rest of the World Ladies Qualifier
