THE seeds for the European Darts Trophy have been confirmed ahead of October's final 2018 European Tour event.

The year's 13th £135,000 European Tour event will be held at the Lokhalle in Göttingen, Germany from October 12-14.

The 16 seeded players, who will enter at the second round stage, have been confirmed ahead of the South & West European Qualifier, which will be held on September 13 in Riesa.

2017 European Darts Trophy winner Michael van Gerwen will be the top seed as he defends his title at the Lokhalle, having defeated Rob Cross in last year's final.

2018 European Tour event winners Ian White, Mensur Suljovic, Jonny Clayton and Max Hopp will also be seeded in Göttingen.

The PDC European Tour will be broadcast for all PDCTV-HD Subscribers worldwide and through a series of bookmakers' websites.
