Petersen v West: Report, Stats & Images

Devon Petersen (Lawrence Lustig, PDC)

DEVON PETERSEN continued his incredible run at the 2018/19 William Hill World Darts Championship with a 4-2 win over Steve West in round three.

After West breezed through the opening set 3-0, African Qualifier Petersen hit finishes of 139 and 120 to win sets two and three respectively to take a 2-1 lead.

UK Open quarter-finalist West won the fourth set 3-0 to level the match once again, but, after he missed a dart at tops to take the lead, Petersen found the double to go 3-2 up.

Another five darts at double top went begging for West to save the match, and Petersen stepped in to hit double eight and book his place in the last 16, while also securing his 2019 PDC Tour Card.
