A TOTAL of 30 PDC Tour Cards will be available at the 2019 PDC Qualifying Schools.

The European Qualifying School began on Thursday in Hildesheim as 249 players challenge to win one of four automatic Tour Cards available from January 3-6.

The winner of each day's play will receive a Tour Card, with ranking points being allocated throughout the event to other players.

The UK Qualifying School, from January 17-20 in Wigan, will see two Tour Cards awarded per day, alongside ranking points for other players.

One point will be awarded per win from the first full round (without Byes) onwards, to form the Qualifying School Orders of Merit.

Further PDC Tour Cards will be awarded following the completion of the UK Qualifying School to players from both the UK and European Q School Orders of Merit, on a pro-rata basis in relation to tournament entries.

There were 249 entries for the European Qualifying School, with entries currently just under 200 for the UK Qualifying School but with 12 days before the entry deadline (1400 GMT on January 15).

All games at the PDC Qualifying Schools will be the best of nine legs.
