Three Nights Remain In Tightest Premier League Ever

Premier League general view (PDC)

THE RACE to The O2 is tighter than ever with three Unibet Premier League nights remaining.

Since the introduction of the 16-match season format in 2013, never before has the points gap from top to sixth in the standings been smaller with three nights to play.

The points gap from third to sixth is also closer than ever, with just one point separating James Wade in third to Daryl Gurney in sixth.

Michael van Gerwen and Rob Cross lead the way and are well on course to make the top four, while at the opposite end of the table, Michael Smith and Peter Wright would both need a dramatic run of results to sneak in.

That leaves Wade, Gerwyn Price, Mensur Suljovic and Gurney likely battling it out for the final two places at The O2 on May 23.

This year's unpredictable Premier League campaign continues in Manchester on Thursday, before heading to Sheffield on May 9 and finally Leeds on May 16 where the top four places will be confirmed.

Here are the Premier League tables with three nights left to play from 2013-2019:
