2019 World Matchplay Set To Break Attendance Record

The 2019 Betfred World Matchplay is set to break the tournament’s attendance record.

The current ticket sales record was achieved in 2017 when over 18,000 fans turned out to witness Phil Taylor's emotional farewell to the famous Winter Gardens stage, but this year’s World Matchplay is on course to surpass that number.

The iconic Blackpool event has enjoyed a continued growth in popularity since its inception in 1994, evidenced by the rise in ticket sales from just under 12,000 in 2009 to over 18,000 in 2019.

A limited number of tickets are still available for this year's event, through SeeTickets or the Winter Gardens Box Office via Ticketmaster.

Monday is the only session with table or balcony seats together remaining, while standing tickets are available for all sessions, however only a handful of these remain for weekend sessions.
