The field for the Unibet European Championship is taking shape with just two European Tour events left to play.

The top 32 players on the European Tour Order of Merit as of September 29 will qualify for October's event in Göttingen, Germany, which marks the culmination of the 13 European Tour events played in 2019.

Joe Cullen assured his place by winning the European Darts Matchplay on Sunday, and he now sits sixth on the European Tour Order of Merit.

Republic of Ireland's World Cup finalist William O'Connor currently occupies the final spot, while Raymond van Barneveld, Michael Smith and Kyle Anderson remain among the players hoping to fight their way into a qualifying spot.

The PDC Order of Merit and European Tour Order of Merit will be open to change again this weekend (September 13-15) as the International Darts Open (ET12) takes place in Riesa, Germany, with all the action shown on video.pdc.tv from Friday to Sunday.
