Barry and Gawlas to meet at Ally Pally

Steve Brown, Keane Barry (JDC)

Keane Barry and Adam Gawlas will meet at Alexandra Palace in December for the final of the Scott Farms International Junior World Darts Championship.

Thursday saw the JDC players return to Europa Point in Gibraltar to battle it out for the two final spots in the Junior World Championship final, which will take place on Saturday December 21 at Alexandra Palace during the William Hill World Darts Championship.

Irishman Barry backed up Wednesday's DartConnect Junior International Open win with a string of further impressive displays.

The 17-year-old averaged over 90 in four of his five matches, including a 98.3 against Sean Cummins before a 5-2 victory over Dutchman Daan Bastiaansen secured his spot in the final.

Fellow 17-year-old Gawlas, who recently reached the third round of the Austrian Darts Championship on his European Tour debut, also continued his eye-catching form having reached the semi-finals of Wednesday's event.

The exciting Czech prospect saw off Justin Hewitt 5-3 in the semi-finals to book his place in London.
