Founder of the British Darts Organisation Olly Croft OBE passed away on Saturday morning at the age of 90.

Croft set up the BDO in 1973 and played a key role in running the sport for almost four decades, while also being a leading figure in the World Darts Federation.

"Whilst our views may not have always aligned, you cannot overlook his influence on the sport," said PDC Chairman Barry Hearn.

"The BDO played a huge role in darts' development and Olly was at the heart of that."

The thoughts and condolences of all at the PDC are with Olly's family and friends at this time.
