World Champions Phil Taylor, Gary Anderson, Adrian Lewis and Rob Cross are set to join some top sporting names in an annual charity fishing event in August.

The Target Sports Stars Fishing Championship will take place on Tuesday August 18 at Tunnel Barn Farm Fishery in Shrewley, as 32 competitors compete across four hours.

Alongside Taylor, Anderson, Lewis and Cross, fellow PDC stars James Wade, Michael Smith, Ian White and Darren Webster are also set to take up their rods, along with PDC Chairman Barry Hearn.

Former England goalkeeper David Seaman, snooker legends Steve Davis and Mark Williams, jockey Hayley Turner and GB netball representatives Mikki Austin and Pamela Cookey are also due to be amongst the sports stars in action.

England rugby union World Cup winner Steve Thompson and former boxers Mark Prince, Johnny Nelson and Spencer Oliver will also be fishing.

The 2020 Target Sport Stars Fishing Championship will be raising funds for the Willow Foundation, which was formed by former Arsenal and Scotland goalkeeper Bob Wilson and his wife Megs in memory of their daughter Anna.

The Willow Foundation works with seriously ill young adults aged between 16-40. For more information, please visit the Willow Foundation website.

Coverage from the charity event will be shown on ITV4. Due to the present regulations, the event will not be open to the public in 2020.
