Field confirmed for World Series of Darts Finals

World number one Michael van Gerwen and reigning World Champion Peter Wright will headline the field for the 2020 World Series of Darts Finals, set to take place in Salzburg, Austria, on September 18-20.

The 24-player tournament, hosted at the Salzburgarena, will see eight seeded players competing against 12 invited stars and four qualifiers from the PDC’s 128 tour card holders.

Joining Van Gerwen and Wright as the seeded players will be Gerwyn Price, Michael Smith, Rob Cross, Nathan Aspinall, Daryl Gurney and Gary Anderson. 

Newly crowned World Matchplay champion Dimitri Van den Bergh is amongst the invitees, alongside James Wade, Dave Chisnall, Ian White, Mensur Suljovic, Fallon Sherrock, Simon Whitlock, Damon Heta, Kyle Anderson, Cody Harris, Jeff Smith and Darius Labanauskas.

The qualifier for the remaining four places will precede the freshly announced PDC Autumn Series on September 11 at Halle 39 in Hildesheim, Germany.

Coverage will be broadcast on ITV4 in the UK, on PDCTV for Rest of the World Subscribers and through the PDC's worldwide broadcast partners including DAZN and RTL7.
