Unbeaten Jamie Lewis booked his place in the second phase of PDC Home Tour II alongside Adam Hunt and Alan Tabern in Group Two on Tuesday.
Welsh ace Lewis enjoyed a confidence-boosting day by winning all six of his games in the home-streamed event to lead the way into the last 35.
Tabern was the player to come closest to defeating the former World Championship semi-finalist, but Lewis won their tie 5-4 with a 124 bull finish in the deciding leg.
Adam Hunt's 5-1 loss to Lewis was one of just two defeats he suffered on the day to progress in second place, alongside third-placed Tabern.
The St Helens left-hander defeated Gary Blades 5-0 in the day's final tie to secure his progression on leg difference ahead of Matthew Edgar and Blades, who also won three games apiece.
Edgar now faces a wait to find out if he will be one of five best-performing fourth-placed players to join the top three from each of ten groups to progress to the second phase.
Wednesday's Group Three will be headlined by four-time Women's World Champion Lisa Ashton, 2008 World Championship finalist Kirk Shepherd and former ProTour event winner Steve Brown.
Poland's Krzysztof Kciuk, Northern Ireland's Mickey Mansell, Dutchman Martijn Kleermaker and English ace Nathan Derry will also be in action on Wednesday.
The PDC Home Tour II will be broadcast through PDCTV and bookmakers' websites worldwide, with play commencing from 0930 UK time on each day.
