Adrian Lewis and Chris Dobey will kick-off the 2020 BoyleSports World Grand Prix, while Michael van Gerwen will begin his title defence on the opening night next Tuesday with the schedule of play now confirmed.
Lewis, a runner-up in 2010, will take on 2019 semi-finalist Dobey in the opening game of this year's double-start event on Tuesday October 6, the first of seven nights of action at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry from October 6-12.
Five-time champion Van Gerwen will take on Poland's Krzysztof Ratajski in the penultimate match of the opening night, preceded by the pick of the first round ties as 2016 runner-up Gary Anderson take on fifth seed Rob Cross.
Two-time winner James Wade and fourth seed Michael Smith will also be in action on night one against 2012 runner-up Mervyn King and newly-crowned World Matchplay champion Dimitri Van den Bergh respectively.
Wednesday's night two begins with a meeting between Brendan Dolan, the first player to hit a nine-dart finish in the unique double-start tournament in 2011, up against 2016 quarter-finalist Kim Huybrechts.
Glen Durrant will have the chance to avenge last year's semi-final defeat to Dave Chisnall, before 2017 champion Daryl Gurney meets Joe Cullen and World Champion Peter Wright begins his quest for a first World Grand Prix crown against Ryan Joyce.
Third seed Gerwyn Price and Premier League semi-finalist Nathan Aspinall will bring the round one action to a close as they take on Jermaine Wattimena and Gabriel Clemens respectively in the final two games of Wednesday night.
All first round ties will be played over a best of three sets, with three legs needed to win a set.
The first round winners will return to the stage on October 8-9, before the quarter-finals are held on Saturday October 10. The semi-finals will take place on Sunday October 11 and the final on Monday October 12.
The tournament will be broadcast live on Sky Sports, as well as through the PDC's international broadcast partners including RTL7 and DAZN and for PDCTV Rest of the World Subscribers.
