The PDPA has launched a Mental Health & Wellbeing Week for their members from December 7-11.

The initiative, aimed at players on the PDC circuit, is aimed at normalising discussions around mental health and wellbeing as well as increasing awareness of the services offered by the PDPA to its members.

The week will feature video interviews with current and former professionals, who have shared their experiences in content to be published on the PDPA's website and social media channels throughout the week.

Other social media content will include advice on managing mental health and also focus on the services provided by the PDPA for their members.

In addition, the PDPA will host two Zoom webinars, with Tuesday's allowing players and family/friends to participate in a live Thrive session from 1900 GMT ahead of a virtual coffee morning for PDPA members on Thursday from 1000-1200 GMT.

"While some of our members are preparing for the World Championship – and all the up ands downs that come with such a big tournament - others may be feeling uncertain about their career and future," said PDPA Chief Executive Alan Warriner-Little.

"That's why we've chosen this week to raise awareness of our continued work in this priority area by hosting the PDPA Mental Health and Wellbeing Week.

"I encourage all PDPA members to engage with the week's online activity and to reach out to us at the if they need support or advice."
