The final place in the 2021 Unibet Premier League will be confirmed following Sunday night's Masters final between Mervyn King and Jonny Clayton.

Nine players were announced for this year's Premier League following the World Championship final on January 3 - with the tenth spot being left open.

2020 Players Championship Finals runner-up King and World Cup champion Clayton have enjoyed superb runs throughout the weekend in Milton Keynes.

Both are targeting their first individual PDC televised title, but will also be competing for a spot in the prestigious Premier League.

The PDC can confirm that the winner of Sunday night's final will take the tenth place in the 2021 Unibet Premier League, with the season set to commence around Easter.

King is a former Premier League finalist, having reached the 2009 decider, but has not competed in the event for a decade since reaching the 2010 semis.

Clayton, meanwhile, made a Challenger appearance in the 2020 Premier League, taking on Michael Smith in Cardiff.
