Dmitriy Gorbunov claimed two of the first three EuroAsian Darts Corporation Tour titles of 2021 as the first three ProTour events of the year took place in Moscow on Saturday and Sunday.
Gorbunov, who made his World Championship debut in December, defeated Evgeniy Izotov in the finals of both the opening two ProTour events on Saturday's opening day of action.
The 43-year-old won the first final 6-3, before coming through a last-leg decider in the second.
Sunday's ProTour 3 final also went the distance, contested by Aleksey Kadochnikov and Roman Obukhov, two of the EADC's leading players in recent years.
The match was won with a 130 checkout from Kadochnikov at the end of an impressive 12-dart leg under pressure.
The EuroAsian Darts Corporation Tour features players from the following countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
The 2021 EADC ProTour season continues with Events Four, Five and Six in Moscow on April 24-25.
