Young stars return to action as Unicorn Development Tour resumes

The PDC Unicorn UK Development Tour season will resume on Friday for the final weekend of action at the Barnsley Metrodome.

Six events will be held from October 29-31 as players compete for £60,000 in prize money, places in the Cazoo Grand Slam of Darts and William Hill World Darts Championship and PDC Tour Cards for 2022/23.

Following the year's opening Development Tour weekend in August, Bristol's Dom Taylor sits on top of the Order of Merit with £5,050 after winning one event and reaching three other finals.

Wales' Liam Meek, the Event Four winner, sits in second place on £3,450, ahead of Keelan Kay (£2,850), Nathan Rafferty (£2,750), Bradley Brooks (£2,700) and Reece Colley (£2,500).

Over 160 players are set to compete across the weekend, with two events being staged per day. Play will begin from 1000 local time on each day.

The European Development Tour season will conclude from November 5-7 in Niedernhausen, Germany, as the remaining six events are staged for players on the continent.
