Rafferty finished as the highest non-qualified player on the Unicorn UK Development Tour Order of Merit on Sunday to secure his debut in the tournament.

21 players are now guaranteed places in this year's Grand Slam, which will see 32 players competing in group and knockout stages for the Eric Bristow Trophy and £550,000 in prize money from November 13-21 at the Aldersley Leisure Village, Wolverhampton.

World Champion Gerwyn Price and 2020 Grand Slam winner Jose de Sousa head up the list of players who have secured qualification for this year's event.

Three-time Grand Slam champion Michael van Gerwen is also among the qualifiers, along with former finalists Peter Wright, James Wade and Gary Anderson.

As Sunday's final of the World Series of Darts Finals featured two players already guaranteed Grand Slam qualification, two places will be awarded to 2021 Players Championship event winners.

Places will be awarded by number of event wins and then PDC Ranking Order, with Michael Smith and Joe Cullen currently occupying the provisional qualification spots.

Players will have the chance to force their way into qualification places at this week's Super Series 8 which will see Players Championship events 28-30 take place in Barnsley, with action broadcast live on PDCTV.

Eight places will also be on offer at the PDC Tour Card Holder Qualifier, which will take place in Barnsley on Friday November 5 (1200 BST).

A further place will also be claimed by the Unicorn European Development Tour Order of Merit winner this weekend.

Listed below is the qualification latest correct as of November 1 2021.
