The Rileys Amateur Qualifiers for the 2022 Cazoo UK Open will begin on January 29-30 with events in Manchester, London and Chester.

The 2022 Cazoo UK Open at Butlin's Minehead Resort in March will feature 16 amateur players alongside the sport's top names competing in the multi-board event.

The 160-player UK Open features action across eight stages in one of the most popular televised events each year, with PDC stars traditionally joined by emerging names and unknown amateur talents.

Former World Champion Rob Cross (pictured) made his breakthrough as a Rileys Amateur Qualifier at the 2016 UK Open before moving onto the PDC circuit.

Rileys Sports Bars across England will stage qualifiers during January and February for players to secure their chance to compete in the UK Open from March 4-6.

A total of 16 knockouts will be held, with each winner progressing to play in Minehead, where they will enter in the first round on Friday March 4.

The opening weekend of Rileys Amateur Qualifiers will see play at the Rileys Sports Bars in Chorlton and London Victoria on Saturday January 29, with a second event being held on Sunday January 30.

Entry to the Rileys Amateur Qualifiers will be open to any player aged 16 and above at the date of the event who is not a PDC Tour Card Holder.

Entry will cost £10 per event and must be made online through this link. Entries for each event will close at 1700 GMT on the day before that specific event. Players are permitted to enter more than one Rileys Amateur Qualifier.

Players must register at the specific event between 1000-1200 GMT, with play commencing at 1230 GMT.
