Portuguese players will get the chance to win a spot alongside Jose de Sousa in June's 2022 Cazoo World Cup of Darts.
The second spot in the World Cup team alongside 2020 Grand Slam of Darts champion De Sousa will be awarded to the winner of the 2022 National Darts Open of Caldas da Rainha.
The Singles event is organised by the Portuguese Federation of Darts & West Zone Association of Darts, and will take place on May 13-14 at Expoeste Saloon as part of a festival in the city of Caldas da Rainha.

Portugal have competed in the past two World Cups, with De Sousa partnered by Jose Marques as they twice reached the second round.
The 2022 Cazoo World Cup of Darts will be held from June 16-19 in Frankfurt, as 32 nations compete for the title.
