2022 Hungarian Darts Trophy qualifying update

Fans holding up 180 cards at a PDC European Tour event

The Host Nation Qualifier for September’s Hungarian Darts Trophy will be held on Sunday July 10 in Budapest.

The Hungarian Darts Trophy, this year’s tenth European Tour event, will take place at the BOK Hall in Budapest from September 2-4.

Gerwyn Price will be aiming to retain his title, after the Welshman recorded an emphatic 8-2 victory over Michael Smith to clinch the £25,000 top prize last September.

Budapest’s Smile Darts Club will hold next month’s Host Nation Qualifier, with three players set to win through and seal spots in September's tournament.

Janos Vegso automatically qualifies for this year's showpiece as the highest-ranked Hungarian player, as per OOM Rule 4.5.

Entries, costing £65 for Day Members and free for Associate Members, are available through the PDC Entry System. Entries close at 1400 BST on Friday July 8.

New players must register their details at this link. Following your registration, you will receive an email to confirm that you are available to enter tournaments, and at this stage you can login to make your entry to the relevant events. This verification may take up to 48 hours.
