Swedish duo Andreas Harrysson and Daniel Larsson shared the spoils as the PDC Nordic & Baltic Pro Tour action continued in Denmark last weekend.
Harrysson produced a series of impressive displays to triumph in Saturday’s fifth Pro Tour event of 2022, sealing the deal with a 6-3 win over former World Championship quarter-finalist Darius Labanauskas.
The 47-year-old also dispatched World Matchplay debutant Madars Razma 6-1 in the semi-finals, after edging out Denmark’s Vladimir Andersen and Benjamin Drue Reus earlier in the day.
Harrysson’s fellow countryman Larsson then made it six different winners from six events on Sunday, to move into a provisional qualification place for the 2022/23 Cazoo World Darts Championship.
Larsson, who was beaten by Labanauskas in a sensational semi-final clash on Saturday, returned the favour 24 hours later, before overcoming Event One winner Andersen 6-4 to scoop the title.
Elsewhere, European Tour qualifiers for the Belgian Darts Open (ET12) and the Gibraltar Darts Trophy (ET13) also took place in Slangerup.
Dennis Nilsson accounted for Harrysson in an all-Swedish showdown on Friday to clinch his spot in the Belgian Darts Open (ET12) from September 23-25 in Wieze.
However, Marko Kantele ended the Swedish monopoly on Saturday, denying Nilsson a qualification double to secure his place at the Gibraltar Darts Open from October 14-16.
The PDC Nordic & Baltic Pro Tour action continues with Events 7-10 in Latvia from August 12-14 - follow live on DartConnect.
