Darts fans will have the chance to test their skills against Scottish legend Gary Anderson when he makes a special appearance at a Cheltenham builders merchant next week.
Two-time World Champion Anderson will appear at the Cheltenham branch of Selco Builders Warehouse on Runnings Road on Tuesday, October 17, between 9.30am and 11am.
Anderson claimed the World Championship title in 2015 and 2016 and remains one of the most popular figures in the sport – having also won the Premier League twice, the World Cup and World Matchplay during a glittering career.
Darts fans will be given the chance to meet ‘The Flying Scotsman’ and go head-to-head with him in special nine-dart challenges, with prizes up for grabs including tickets for a PDC event.
Anderson said: “It’s always great to get out and meet the fans and I’m looking forward to having some fun at Selco Cheltenham on Tuesday.
“It’s a very busy time in the darting calendar between now and the end of the year, so it will be a useful bit of extra practice for me too.”
