Revamped PDC Fantasy Darts returns for 2024/25 World Championship

PDC Fantasy Darts

PDC Fantasy Darts has launched ahead of the 2024/25 Paddy Power World Darts Championship, as the revamped competition returns for the sport's showpiece event.

The latest staging of the World Darts Championship will see 96 players from around the globe going head-to-head for the coveted Sid Waddell Trophy, from Sunday December 15 through to the final on Friday January 3.

You can immerse yourself in this year's World Darts Championship by picking your ultimate ten-player team, made up of players competing at Alexandra Palace.

Points will be scored based on your players' performances, and you can take on your friends in private leagues to determine who has the ultimate darting knowledge!

Picking your team:
Ahead of the first dart of the tournament on December 15, you pick ten players based on five pre-determined categories - Favourites (x3), Dark Horses (x2), Outsiders (x2), Long Shots (x2) and Debutants x1.

Transfers:
Transfers are available to change your team after the conclusion of the second round (Dec 23) and after the fourth round (Dec 30).

You can only transfer your existing picks for other players in the same pre-determined category, and if all players are eliminated from that category, then the squad size will be reduced for all fantasy players across the board.

Captains:
In your team, you can select a Captain and Vice-Captain. Your Captain will score 2x their points, whilst your Vice-Captain will receive 1.5x their points. You can change your Captain and Vice-Captain when the transfer window is open.

Scoring System:

  • Match Won: 3 points
  • Set Won: 1 point
  • Set Lost: -1 point
  • 180 Thrown: 1 point
  • 170 Checkout: 3 points
  • Checkout over 99.5: 2 points
  • Checkout percentage over 66%: 2 points
  • Checkout percentage under 33%: -1 point
  • Average over 99.9: 3 points
  • Nine-darter: 15 points

The winner of the global leaderboard will receive four tickets to the 2025/26 World Darts Championship, while the runner-up will win a dartboard signed by the 2024/25 World Darts Championship semi-finalists.

There will also be a signed Luke Littler shirt on offer to whoever finishes in third place, while individual prizes are also up for grabs each Gameweek.

Gameweek 2 - Michael van Gerwen Darts
Gameweek 3 - Luke Humphries Darts
