The PDC Nordic & Baltic Darts Championship will be introduced in October 2025, giving players from the region the chance to compete for the Jann Hoffmann Trophy and a place in the Paddy Power World Darts Championship.
The exciting new event will give the top 24 players from the final PDCNB ProTour rankings the chance to compete for €18,500 in prize money.
Alongside a €6,500 top prize, the winner will also qualify to compete in the 2025/26 World Darts Championship, and lift the Jann Hoffmann Trophy - named in memory of the popular former Danish star (pictured) who was also one of the founders of the Scandinavian Darts Corporation, which later became the PDCNB.
The inaugural PDC Nordic & Baltic Darts Championship will take place on the weekend of October 3-5.
"To be able to offer such substantial rewards for our season finalé feels great," said PDCNB Chairman Michael Frydendahl.
"The players that qualify will have put in a lot of miles and commitment to try and secure a spot in the PDC Nordic & Baltic Darts Championship throughout the PDCNC ProTour season.
"This is a very exciting development for players across the Nordic & Baltic region, and also gives us a chance to remember the contribution Jann Hoffmann made to the sport by naming the trophy in his honour."
