2025 Betfred World Matchplay - Day Two latest

Betfred World Matchplay (Mark Robinson/PDC)

The 2025 Betfred World Matchplay continues on Sunday, as World Champion Luke Littler enters the fray in Blackpool.

Following Luke Humphries' opening night exit, Littler is the highest-ranked player left in the field, and the teenage superstar will begin his title challenge against Ryan Searle in the evening's penultimate tie.

Former champions Rob Cross and Peter Wright will face Dutch duo Dirk van Duijvenbode and Jermaine Wattimena respectively, while 2018 winner Gary Anderson kicks off his campaign against Luke Woodhouse.

2023 runner-up Jonny Clayton locks horns with German number one Martin Schindler in another intriguing clash, while fourth seed Stephen Bunting goes up against Ryan Joyce in a repeat of their first round showdown 12 months ago.

Elsewhere, five-time quarter-finalist Dave Chisnall will play World Grand Prix champion Mike De Decker, as Australian number one Damon Heta opens the show against 2024 quarter-finalist Andrew Gilding.

The Betfred World Matchplay is being broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK & Ireland, through the PDC's worldwide broadcast partners including DAZN and Viaplay, and on PDCTV (excluding UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria & Switzerland based subscribers).
