Beau Greaves extended her incredible winning run on the PDC Women’s Series with another dominant double in Milton Keynes on Saturday.
The first PDC Women’s Series events held since last month’s Women’s World Matchplay saw Greaves return to winning ways in Events 17-18 at Arena MK.
The Doncaster darter surrendered her Women’s World Matchplay crown to Lisa Ashton in Blackpool, but she avenged that result on her way to Event 17 success in Saturday’s opener.
Greaves signalled her intent with a 105.47 average in her opening round demolition of Marlene Barcelos, before following up a whitewash win over Grace Ferridge with a 4-1 victory against Ashton.
The 21-year-old continued her charge with successive 5-2 wins against Aileen de Graaf and Gemma Hayter, which set up a winner-takes-all showdown against her great rival Fallon Sherrock.
Sherrock – who conceded just two legs in reaching the final – seized the early initiative, only for Greaves to produce a four-leg burst from 3-1 adrift to secure her sixth straight Women’s Series title.
This extended Greaves’ incredible winning run on the Women’s Series circuit to 38 matches, which was elongated to a staggering 45 matches following her Event 18 triumph.
After kicking off her latest bid with a 4-1 victory against Sally Whiting, Greaves maintained her darting dominance with four-leg thumpings of Karolina Ratajska and Deta Hedman.
The two-time Women’s World Matchplay winner then averaged 98 and 97 to see off Kim Holden and Denise Cassidy, before following up another semi-final win over Hayter with a 5-2 success against Aileen de Graaf in the Event 18 showpiece.
De Graaf had accounted for Ashton in the last eight, before whitewashing Vicky Pruim in the semi-finals to reach her first Women’s Series final of 2025.
The top three players from the final PDC Women's Series standings will qualify for the 2025/26 Paddy Power World Darts Championship, with Ashton already assured of her spot after lifting the Women’s World Matchplay.
The top-ranked player on the Women’s Series rankings will also join Ashton in the 2025 Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts, which takes place from November 8-16 in Wolverhampton.
This weekend’s PDC Women's Series action will conclude with Events 19-20 on Sunday, and live coverage will get underway from approximately 1015 BST on PDCTV.
