2025 BoyleSports World Grand Prix

The race to qualify for the 2025 BoyleSports World Grand Prix continues this weekend, as the Blåkläder Flanders Darts Trophy gets underway in Antwerp on Friday.

The year’s tenth European Tour event will be held at the Antwerp Xpo from August 29-31, with a 48-player field battling it out for the £30,000 top prize on Belgian soil.

There are just six events remaining before the BoyleSports World Grand Prix qualification cut-off, with the 32-player field set to be confirmed following the conclusion of the Swiss Darts Trophy on September 28.

The top 16 players from the PDC Werner Rankings Ladder will qualify for this year’s double-start event in Leicester, and they will be joined by 16 qualifiers from the 12-month ProTour rankings.

World number one Luke Humphries will headline this year’s £600,000 event, as he bids to repeat his 2023 success in the East Midlands.

World Champion Luke Littler will also star alongside six-time champion Michael van Gerwen, with former winners Jonny Clayton, James Wade and Gerwyn Price also set to feature in Leicester.

German number one Martin Schindler will head up the 16 qualifiers from the one-year ProTour rankings, in a list which also includes reigning champion Mike De Decker.

2017 champion Daryl Gurney is also poised to seal his qualification alongside former finalists Nathan Aspinall and Dirk van Duijvenbode, with Dutch duo Wessel Nijman and Niels Zonneveld eyeing double-start debuts in October.

However, there are a number of high-profile names currently adrift of the qualification places, including 2022/23 World Champion Michael Smith and former Masters winner Joe Cullen.

The table below displays the latest standings in the race to the BoyleSports World Grand Prix, which will take place at Leicester’s Mattioli Arena from October 6-12, televised on Sky Sports and through the PDC's global broadcast partners.
