Sherrock, Sevada and Zong secure Ally Pally qualification

Fallon Sherrock (PDC)

Fallon Sherrock, Adam Sevada and Xiaochen Zong have become the latest players to confirm their qualification for the 2025/26 Paddy Power World Darts Championship.

History-maker Sherrock - who enjoyed historic wins over Ted Evetts and Mensur Suljovic in the 2019/20 event - will make her sixth Alexandra Palace appearance in December after sealing her qualification via the PDC Women’s Series rankings.

The 30-year-old reached a brace of Women’s Series finals in Milton Keynes last weekend to cement second spot on the rankings behind Beau Greaves, extending her lead over Lisa Ashton in third place.

However, with Ashton already assured of her qualification after winning July's Women’s World Matchplay and only four Women's Series events remaining, Sherrock will finish in the top four on the Women’s Series rankings, which ensures she will feature in the sport’s flagship event.

Greaves is also assured of qualification, although she also tops the Development Tour rankings at present - which would take precedence over the Women's Series rankings should she retain that spot.

Sherrock will be joined in the capital by World Darts Championship debutant Sevada, who continued his terrific form on the CDC circuit by claiming his fifth title of 2025 in Chicago last weekend.

The American won four consecutive events midway through the campaign, before running out an emphatic winner in Sunday's Event 13 to extend his buffer at the top of the CDC rankings.

Sevada is now guaranteed to finish as either the top-ranked American or the top-ranked non-qualified player on the CDC rankings, with just three events remaining ahead of the qualification cut-off.

Zong, meanwhile, will compete in his fifth World Darts Championship later this year, after retaining the PDC China Championship title in Xian.

The 27-year-old has been the dominant force in Chinese darts for much of the last decade, and he continued his monopoly of the domestic circuit with a 3-1 victory over Qingyu Zhan to clinch his big stage return.

Further International Qualifiers for the 2025/26 World Darts Championship will be confirmed in the coming weeks, with the DPA ProTour circuit drawing to a close this weekend.

The DPA ProTour winner will qualify for this year’s extravaganza, before the PDC Asian Tour reaches its climax in September.

The top five players on the PDC Asian Tour rankings will also compete at Alexandra Palace, alongside the PDC Asian Championship winner and runner-up.

The Netherlands & Belgium Qualifier for the 2025/26 World Darts Championship has been confirmed for Saturday November 15 at Maaspoort in Den Bosch.
