Comito seals Ally Pally return as Klinge enjoys DPA ProTour double

Joe Comito (PDC)

Joe Comito secured a place in the Paddy Power World Darts Championship on the final weekend of the 2025 DPA ProTour, as Brody Klinge won two of the year's last three events.

Comito will return to Alexandra Palace for a second successive year after topping the DartPlayers Australia rankings.

The Perth star secured top spot by winning Saturday's opening Event 16, dropping just one leg in his opening three matches before defeating Brandon Weening and Stuart Coburn by 6-4 margins to claim the title.

Comito was then the runner-up to Klinge in Event 17, with the emerging star taking a 6-2 victory in their final after seeing off Tim Pusey and James Bailey in the latter stages.

Klinge then claimed Event 18 on Sunday, completing his weekend double with a 3-0 Sets defeat of Dave Hanel in the final.

Hanel overcame Comito in the quarter-finals and also saw off Coburn in the last four, while Klinge defeated Pusey and Harley Kemp on the way to triumph.

Comito's success also means that he headlines the DPA Qualifiers for the Dabble Darts ANZ Premier League, which will take place in October and November across Australia and New Zealand.

Klinge and Bailey will also qualify from the DPA Rankings, joining Comito and Australian icon Simon Whitlock in the eight-player field.

The top two players from the Australian Darts Association rankings - following their final weekend Melton from September 5-7 - will also qualify to compete in the ANZ Premier League, alongside the DPNZ ProTour champion and the DPNZ Top 16 Play-Off winner.
