Josh Rock has climbed the Werner Rankings Ladder, as the County Antrim-born star moves one place away from a spot in the world’s top ten following his emphatic run in Antwerp.
Rock continued his excellent form as he followed a semi-final appearance in the Betfred World Matchplay by producing a string of superb performances to progress to his third European Tour final last weekend.
The 2025 World Cup champion saw off Karel Sedlacek, Stephen Bunting, Luke Woodhouse and James Wade, before succumbing to World Champion Luke Littler in the Flanders Darts Trophy final.
However, Rock pocketed £12,000 for his exploits at the Antwerp Xpo, which has seen him climb one place to 11th on the Werner Rankings Ladder.
Littler continues to claim more records on the European Tour, as the 18-year-old has now equalled Phil Taylor’s title tally on the European Tour in just two years with a fourth title.
The Warrington-born star saw off Dylan Slevin, Ryan Searle, Damon Heta and Daryl Gurney before beating Rock 8-7.
Littler is now less than £250,000 adrift of world number one Luke Humphries, who missed the Antwerp event for family reasons.
Elsewhere, Ricardo Pietreczko climbed one place in the rankings to 28 - level with current European Champion Ritchie Edhouse - whilst Andrew Gilding dropped one place to 27th.
Karel Sedlacek saw himself move four places up the rankings, after losing to Rock in a last-leg decider on Saturday, whilst Callan Rydz’s loss on Friday - despite averaging 106 - saw him drop to 42nd.
A busy week of ProTour action had also seen Jeffrey de Graaf secure his maiden PDC ranking title, defeating Stephen Bunting 8-7 in a thrilling final to claim the Players Championship 24 title.
The Swedish World Cup ace, who began the year sitting in 63rd spot, has climbed an emphatic 12 places to see him sit just outside the world’s top 50, £4,250 adrift of Richard Veenstra.
Bunting, who was a runner-up to De Graaf, claimed another title in Players Championship 25 to maintain fourth spot, £27,750 ahead of in-form James Wade, a semi-finalist in Antwerp.
