Mervyn King, Jurjen van der Velde and David Davies were the latest International Qualifiers confirmed for the 2025/26 Paddy Power World Darts Championship during the last week.
King will make his first Alexandra Palace appearance for three years after finishing in fourth spot on the Winmau Challenge Tour rankings.
The Norfolk ace previously made 16 appearances at Alexandra Palace from 2007/08-2022/23, with his best run coming to the semi-finals of the 2008/09 event.
The top three players from the Challenge Tour rankings were assured of qualification, with Stefan Bellmont, Darius Labanauskas and Ted Evetts confirming top-three finishes.
However, with Labanauskas qualifying for the World Championship via the ProTour rankings, that offered an additional spot via the Challenge Tour, which is now taken by King.
Elsewhere, 2024 World Youth Championship runner-up Van der Velde will make his debut in the sport’s flagship event after securing his qualification via the Winmau Development Tour rankings.
Owen Bates forced his way into the top 40 on the ProTour rankings last week to open up an additional qualifying place via the Development Tour, which was claimed by Dutch star Van der Velde.
Welshman David Davies will also make his World Championship debut next month, after winning through Saturday’s UK & Ireland Tour Card Holder and Associate Member Qualifier.
Davies - a winner on the Challenge Tour in August - came through a 73-player field to seal his qualification, averaging 97 to defeat Shane McGuirk 7-4 in their winner-takes-all showdown.
The race for World Darts Championship qualification continues this week, with the winner of the PDC Europe Super League – which takes place in Germany from November 4-7 – also set to feature at Alexandra Palace.
