The Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts quarter-finals get underway on Friday evening, as the remaining eight players continue their pursuit of the coveted Eric Bristow Trophy.
Reigning champion Luke Littler is the leading contender to claim the £150,000 top prize, with former champions Luke Humphries, Gerwyn Price and Michael Smith also aiming to reclaim the title in Wolverhampton.
Josh Rock, Danny Noppert, Ricky Evans and Lukas Wenig complete the quarter final line-up, as they set their sights on a maiden televised ranking title at WV Active Aldersley.
“After some thrilling last 16 matches including a couple of dramatic last-leg deciders, it’s Luke Littler and Luke Humphries who once again head the outright betting to win the 2025 Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts,” said Russ Yershon from Mr Vegas.
“The reigning Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts champion Luke Littler is the 11/10 favourite to defend his title, with the 2023 winner Luke Humphries 12/5 to win the title for a second time.
“Opening the quarter-final action tonight will be Gerwyn Price, who is looking to win this tournament for a fourth time, and he can be backed at 23/5 to do so.
“Next up is Josh Rock, who is 10/1 to lift the Eric Bristow Trophy on Sunday night, but he will have to cause an upset and beat Littler in the quarter-finals on Saturday evening.
“Following a brilliant 10-6 win over Michael van Gerwen, Danny Noppert is next in the betting at 12/1 to win the Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts with 2022 winner Michael Smith 39/1 to achieve success and become a two-time champion in Wolverhampton.
“Looking at the quarter-finals, Price is a strong favourite at 1/7 to beat Ricky Evans, while world number one Humphries is also a heavy favourite to win his match against Smith at 1/9.
“In Saturday night’s matches, Noppert is a 2/7 favourite to reach his first Grand Slam of Darts semi-final, as he takes on surprise package Lukas Wenig in the last eight.
“The final quarter-final tie has Luke Litter as a 4/15 favourite to beat Josh Rock, who can be backed at 3/1 to cause a surprise and knock out the reigning champion.
“We’re at the business end of the tournament now and with the crowd in full voice, it promises to be an electric few days in Wolverhampton. Can anyone stop it being a Luke Littler versus Luke Humphries final on Sunday night?”
