THE qualification structure for the 2016 Auckland Darts Masters, Ladbrokes Sydney Darts Masters and TABtouch Perth Darts Masters has been confirmed ahead of the World Series of Darts events.
While eight PDC stars will compete in all six international World Series of Darts events, including world number one Michael van Gerwen, World Champion Gary Anderson and 16-time World Champion Phil Taylor, the events in New Zealand and Australia will also feature eight Oceanic representatives.
This year will see the second staging of the Auckland Darts Masters kick off the Oceanic action on the PDC World Series of Darts, when 16 players compete at the Trusts Arena from June 17-19.
Top New Zealand stars Warren Parry and Cody Harris have been invited to compete in Auckland, where they will be joined by the Dart Players New Zealand number one, a DartPlayers Australia qualifier and four players to come from knockout qualifiers to be held at the Swanson RSA from June 11-14.
The focus then switches to the August double-header in Sydney and Perth, which will both feature top Australian professionals Simon Whitlock and Kyle Anderson, as well as the DPA Australian Grand Prix number one ranked player at May 2.
Additionally, each tournament will feature one DPNZ representative and three qualifiers from events to be held during July and early August.
